The Polidori Society: Submissions

About “The Polidori Society: Submissions”

Welcome to The Polidori Society Submissions Blog!

The Polidori Society is an amateur creative writing association, founded in Irving TX by students from the University of Dallas in 1991.  It has since become a loose association of friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers, all of whom are interested in creative writing but aren’t “professional” creative writers in their ordinary lives.  This blog serves as an avenue for anyone to have their work see the light of day, in a sort-of “officially published” format,  instead of squirreled away in a drawer somewhere.

To prevent intrusive spamming, I — the administrator of The Polidori Society: Submissions Blog — have retired the message board/ forum and returned to the blog format.  I apologize for being a middle-man, but quality control of spam has warranted it.

So… to post your work on this blog:

1) Email me your literary work in either .txt or .rtf file format to admin@rowenasworld.org

2) I will post your work on the blog.

3) That’s it.

You, as the writer, have full copyright to your work.  If and when you wish to have your work removed from the blog, just email me, and I will gladly remove it.

Tip: For folks who have been unsuccessful in getting their work published, I’d recommend the self-publishing route through Lulu.com, a free publishing service that I’ve used myself.   You may not get rich and famous, but at least you’ll be published!

Feel free to read folks’ works on this blog.  Also, feel free to comment on any you liked (or maybe not-so-much liked).  Writing is necessarily a solitary habit, but it’s always nice for an author to get reader feedback.  I know I like it.

Again, welcome, and thank you for stopping by The Polidori Society: Submissions Blog.  Don’t be a stranger.  :-)
